Third-partyOnline lookup
This is an educational profile built from public sources. It isn't a rating, an endorsement, or an opinion on any item or seller. How we source facts. Last researched Oct 12, 2026.

Who runs it, and where

  • BAS was established in November 2016 as part of Beckett Media. Its principal authenticators are Steve Grad and Brian Sobrero. [1]
  • Mail-in orders go to 2700 Summit Ave, Ste 100, Plano, TX 75074. [2]

Online cert lookup

  • Beckett's online platforms, including certificate lookup, have been offline since September 9, 2026. [3]
  • On October 2, 2026, Beckett described a phased restoration. Certificate lookup is in Phase 1 and authentication services are in Phase 3. No return date has been given. [4]

Press and court history

  • Beckett said it detected suspicious technical activity during planned IT updates. It also said it found no evidence that sensitive customer information was affected and that certification records remain intact. [4]

What marketplaces and other authenticators say

  • As of Oct 12, 2026, Beckett does not appear on eBay's published list of people and organizations whose COAs/LOAs are not allowed. That list is not an endorsement, and eBay says COAs are only as valuable as the reputation of the issuer. [5]
